     SPECIALISTS IN ADVENTURE COASTEERING

One of the biggest questions that we get asked at Hotrockcoasteer is, what is Coasteering and what does it involve? You will first be given a detailed but fun and important safety brief and equipment checks.

Coasteering can involve climbing or scrambling, this means traversing the lower level of sea cliffs, or climbing a small section, to get out of the water. The level of climbing can range from easy to very difficult; this will depend on you and your group’s ability and comfort levels. Due to the low level of climbing, technical ropes will not be used as part of Coasteering.

Coasteering also involves swimming along the bottom of the sea cliffs, stopping on route to experience the lift and fall of the sea against the cliffs, this is known as the Coasteering Elevator.

You will also experience Coasteering stoppers, these are very similar to waterfalls. You will also spin around in real whirlpools that can grow up to 10ft in diameter. On route you and your group will explore the huge towering sea caves and believe me, some are very dark!

The very last but the most talked about part of your Coasteer will be the JUMPS! Our highly qualified and experienced instructors will take you through step by step from the small to the big jumps, you’ll LUV IT! Can’t wait to see you.
